Profile

Jennifer was admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2005 and has worked exclusively in the representation of injured people throughout her career. Her experience spans all areas of personal injury law, including workers’ compensation, motor vehicle accidents, public liability, children’s accidents, fatal accidents, medical negligence and criminal injuries compensation.

Jennifer has represented hundreds of individuals in the District Court, Supreme Court, and WorkCover WA, with no fight being too big or too small. She is passionate about understanding an injured individual’s accident and injuries, and the effect on their personal circumstances, to then seek the best possible outcome.

Notable Decisions

Jennifer represented an injured worker (Mr Reynolds) in his claim against his employer (Department of Planning and Infrastructure) and other parties as a result of him falling from a faulty elevator when exiting his workplace one evening. Amongst other injuries, Mr Reynolds ultimately suffered a brain injury as a result of the fall. Whilst he often appeared high functioning and managing, Mr Reynolds’ injury in fact had a profound and devastating effect on his life, capacity to work, and ability to function independently. After a lengthy workers compensation process, and a highly contested common law negligence claim, Mr Reynolds was awarded damages of over $2.2M.
