David has extensive experience representing workers in all areas of employment law including underpayments of wages, adverse action, discrimination and unfair dismissal.

  • David regularly acts for employees in adverse action claims in the Federal Court, and has been successful in obtaining orders that a General Manager personally pay compensation.
  • David is well-regarded for his strategic approach to underpayment claims in the Industrial Magistrate’s Court, which has seen him achieve orders for compensation and penalties.
  • David often takes on the serious role of advising employees on responding to workplace investigations.
  • David previously worked for Slater and Gordon Lawyers and the Australian Manufacturing Workers’ Union.
